In 2012, Dmitry Druzhinsky took the most ambitious project of his career on: a $20 million venture to bring New York’s finest health and fitness destination. After the arduous negotiation process, a desirable three-acre lot in Coney Island was secured, and plans to construct a 120,000 sq. ft. complex, the biggest of its kind in Brooklyn, began. With the completion of development in 2014, MatchPoint NYC immediately increased the bar and raised expectations for recreational iamenities across the city, becoming the preferred venue for families, professional athletes, and charitable events. The center’s unrivaled, contemporary amenities host a wide array of training programs, league sports and fitness classes that smaller facilities simply cannot accommodate, while its committed and professionally trained team of certified instructors, personal trainers and nutritionists motivate, challenge and encourage members to grow.
