Building on his enthusiasm for tennis and other competitive sports, Dmitry Druzhinsky co-founded MatchPoint NYC in 2012. This $20 million project, located in the Coney Island area of Brooklyn on nearly three acres, is a luxury sports and fitness center encompassing 120,000 square feet. A cafe and juice bar complement 9 indoor tennis courts, 5 tennis courts dedicated for kids 10 and under, a full-size gym boasting state-of-the-art fitness equipment and 3 group fitness studios. Also on-site are a junior Olympic pool, rhythmic gymnastics center, basketball court, Yoga studio, outdoor training field, and a collection of both recreational and competitive training programs, including MMA and Sambo Academy. MatchPointNYC is the second largest tennis facility in New York City.
